Interpretation of the ruleset.

1.1.1

The European Youth Esport League always sets the rules.

1.1.2

The European Youth Esport League can change the rules at any time.

1.1.3

The European Youth Esport League has the final say as to how the ruleset should be interpreted.

1.1.4

The rules must be followed at all times within the European Youth Esport League. Otherwise the results may be invalidated within the tournament.

1.1.5

It is always the responsibility of the player/team to read and understand the rules of the European Youth Esport League.

1.1.6

Violating the rules of the European Youth Esport League can result in exclusion from the league.

2.0

League rules

2.1.1

Hearthstone is played in a league format within the European Youth Esport League.

2.1.2

Only standard game mode is used.

2.1.3

One league match is played per week.

2.1.3

The match type used is Bo3.

(Remember to always fill out the full score of the match – for example: 2 – 1)

2.1.4

A victory gives three points; a defeat gives zero points.

2.1.5

The individual rounds are counted when calculating the ranking order and whoever has the best individual point score and round score will be ranked first.

2.1.6

The leagues will be divided on the basis of countries.

(German league, Russian league, etc.)

2.1.7

The winner of each league will progress to the European Youth Esport League’s European Championship.

2.1.8

Match streaming is permitted so long as a delay of at least ninety seconds is applied.

2.1.9

The European Esport League’s discord channel is a good place to find your opponent.

(Simply search under the right channel)

2.2.0

All match scores must be uploaded to the European Youth Esport League website

2.2.1

Always take a screenshot of the result.

2.2.2

Game mode

A: Summoner’s Rift 5v5.

B: Tournament Draft.

C: Bo3.

D: SERVER EU West

2.2.3 RESTRICTIONS AND PICKS

2.2.4 All items and champions are allowed.

2.2.5 Newly released champions must not be played until after one week has passed from their release. The new champions will be visible before this week has passed but must not be selected or chosen.

2.2.6 The first team on the match overview selects the side that they want to start on (blue/left/first pick and red/right/second pick).

2.2.7 If several rounds are played, then the teams must change sides after each match.

2.2.8

OTHER RULES

2.2.9 The game can be paused for up to 15 minutes in total.

2.2.10 Admins, streamers and coaches are permitted to spectate the game.

3.0

HARASSMENT

3.1.0

Harassing your opponent in any form whatsoever is strictly forbidden during match time, which is to say whether within or outside of the game.

3.1.1

Should any problems arise, it is important to take screenshots and other forms of documentation that can be used as evidence. These materials should be sent to European Youth Esport League support.

 

4.0

COMMUNICATIONS

4.1.0

We encourage all teams to maintain a presence on the discord channel during the match as this will make it possible to come into contact with the admins.

5.0

BAD CONDUCT AND EXPLOITS

5.1.0 All applicable rules for the European Youth Esport League must be followed.
